On the Lookout For Easy Kid Recipes
By Peg Baron

kid friendly recipes
There are many, many websites that offer easy kid recipes these days that you should be able to find a site that caters specifically to kids.
What is the main focus of the site?
Does it cater to kids or mostly to adults with a small kids section? Some adult cooking websites have tons of great recipes, but they’re for adults and aren’t always easy enough for kids.
Are the recipes what kids might want to cook?
It’s fun to look at recipes for a cutesy-wootsy bug made with olives and celery but not a lot of kids like olives and celery. Let’s not forget these recipes are really not that easy and are more for the adults to make for the kids, not for the kids to make themselves.
Does the website offer cooking safety information and definitions of cooking terms?
A good cooking website for kids offers explanations. The website is committed to helping kids learn to cook, not just giving them recipes.
Does the site have a way for kids or parents to leave feedback?
Does the website offer anything else?
Is the cooking website safe for kids?
Check out any links the website owner has included. Check them out before you let your kids wander around the site.
